Object-Oriented PHP

A class is a blueprint; objects are instances built from it:

class Product { public function __construct( public string $name, private float $price, ) {} public function price(): float { return $this->price; } } $pen = new Product('Pen', 1.5); echo $pen->name;

Constructor property promotion (PHP 8) declares and assigns properties in one place. $this refers to the current object; -> accesses its properties and methods.
